This London based subsidiary of an already well established PQS practice is seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager (preference for a cost management background) as it moves into a significant growth phase supported by a considerable workload.
Currently employing under 10 staff, they specialize in affordable housing schemes (S106) and partner with a plethora of housing associations in unlocking development opportunities for significant mixed use schemes. In turn, they’re also forging strong relationships with private developers in joint ventures, offering them new service opportunities, which will continue to become more prevalent with the onward progression of this sector.
Due to the nature of the companies’ history they are typically involved at early stages of these projects (pre contract) of which can vary significantly in complexity and size – from a 3 unit development to a 600 unit development. In addition, they also are involved in the full delivery of large private residential projects within C.London and various cut and carve schemes, developing residential care facilities from commercial building housing association stock.
Candidates wishing to apply will need, as a minimum, a Quantity Surveying degree (BSc / MSc) – with an ideal scenario of being MRICS but not necessarily essential. Over and above all, candidate require the relevant experience of the affordable housing sector (construction) to immediately manage two projects with a combined 150 units within the greater London area.

It is obviously important that you have a sound understanding of S106 projects and that you’ve had a significant responsibility for development cost control. Dependent on performance, there will be genuine career progression to an executive level.
In return, our client is offering a generous starting salary to £65,000 (dependent on experience), a discretionary bonus, 5 weeks holiday, life Assurance, Private healthcare, professional fees paid, and a mobile + laptop.
