Our client, a small project & cost management consultancy is seeking to hire another Junior Project Manager to its Central London office.
With a growing project pipeline, it’s an exciting time for this small practice and this apprenticeship opportunity will quickly move you towards establishing your independence as a Construction Project Manager.
Candidates will preferably have a related surveying and/ or construction project management degree (ideally RICS accredited) In addition, those encouraged to apply include Graduates with a ‘year out’ in industry or a bright, energetic undergraduate or trainee who can offering part time employment (pro rata salary) whilst still completing their studies at their university. Candidates must be based in / around Central London and prferably in their final study year.
As a minimum, candidates will need to demonstrate good levels of confidence & interpersonal skills as you will be required to ‘substitute in’ for more senior staff, at client meetings, in due course.
As you shadow others, including a Director, your academic learning and / or professional experience will evolve to a practical learning of the PM ropes. You will be involved in prestigious residential work, typically major basement conversions c10,000 – 15,000 sqft, various hotel refurbishment works (4/5*) and other hospitality led property such as restaurants and retail fit-outs.
Initially, your day to day responsibilities will include various aspects of project administration and document control albeit rapid progression should be anticipated as you become more familiar with managing projects.

Starting salary to £22,000 – £28,000 + benefits (dependent on professional experience to date)
