Graduate / Junior Project Manager
Our client is a niche, independent PQS consultancy with offices in Surrey and Central London. They are an established small business with a strong leisure and hotel(s) client portfolio with the majority of project work within the London area.
For their Surrey office, they’re urgently seeking to appoint a graduate / junior level project manager to support and work alongside a senior project manager on various leisure fit-out and hotel refurbishment projects.
Applications are encouraged from recent graduates with either a construction PM or construction management degree however our client will also consider a day release student requiring a working opportunity for 4 days per week whilst coupling with their remaining studies. Ideal candidates will have under 12 months professional experience to date or will have completed an industrial placement year.
Key personal criteria includes being personable, articulate and presentable. This opportunity will soon lead to client facing responsibilities so your character should be able to hold and handle good degrees of responsibility. Immediately and over time you can expect to be involved in client meetings, report writing, budgeting, variation control, programming and inspections and you will also receive both a commitment & financial support to further your individual qualifications.
Candidates should have sound computer skills in Excel & Microsoft Project. Candidates should also have a full UK driving licence.
Salary is negotiable depending on circumstances – Guide c£18,000 – 25,000 basic salary + 25 days holiday (plus closure at Xmas) + discretionary bonus
