Client-side Project Manager

We are delighted to be retained by an exclusive family office business to find a Project Manager to continue to grow their bespoke construction service. They’re recruiting in response to consistent & increasing demands to manage high value asset improvement projects from their high net worth clientele.   

Day to day you’ll be working alongside the Construction Manager either from site or from well-located offices in South West London. However, in principle you’ll be taking a lead role on various development and refurbishment projects; you’ll be negotiating the start of projects to completion, reporting to the clients with regular updates including budget and expenditure. Managing projects at budget of circa £1 – £5m within the super prime and high end residential markets in / around Central London.

You will also support a lead Director in client meetings (for prospective & current workload), albeit it will be your responsibility to drive individual projects through all stages of construction, in particular, assisting with the delivery of the final stages of a prestigious residential project in the Kensington area (due for completion in March 2020) 

Key Experience & Skills required:

• Candidates should have a construction project management or surveying degree, with appropriate memberships within the construction sector (MRICS highly desirable)
• Minimum 5 years post degree (UK based) experience
• Well versed in JCT forms of contract
• Evidence of resource & personnel managerial experience is highly desirable.
• High end bespoke residential experience is anticipated (C.London based experience preferred)

Salary on offer is to c£65,000 + benefits (depending on experience)
