We are retained by an exclusive family office & concierge business to find a Project Manager to grow a new, bespoke construction service. Our client is responding to consistent & increasing demands to manage high value asset improvement projects from their high net worth clientele.
With support of an Operations Director and a small in-house property team they are due to start two large refurbishment projects (JCT contracts) imminently and they’re wanting the successful candidate to take responsibility for both projects to completion.
The first project, due on site next month, is a 35,000sqft refurbishment, a c£5m projected cost, including a strip back to shell and core within 50% of the property and various cut and carve / remodelling projects in an single residency building in an exclusive area of Central London. The 2nd project is similar scale but potentially includes subterranean development. Beyond this, our clients are courting related projects around Zone 1 postcodes including other major European cities.
As a business, our client are well known to major legal, financial and asset management companies and with a rapidly growing interest for developing major refurbishment projects they feel that they have a significant business opportunity to expand their expertise.
In principle, they’re seeking a consultant trained project manager with high end residential experience – refurbishment or new build. Candidates must hold a UK based construction or surveying degree, with minimum 4 years post-graduation experience and ideally, have recently attained their MRICS status.
Our client is looking for a bright, energetic and ambitious professional. You must have excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a robust understanding of JCT contracts with excellent team management skills. It is a prerequisite that candidates have high end residential project experience in Central London, individual projects should be in excess of £1-2m for refurbishments and £5m for new build experience.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious PM with entrepreneurial flai. Salary offered c£50,000 – 60,000 (depending on experience) + lucrative profit share
