Associate / Senior Project Manager – Construction

Our client is a busy, well established partnership offering principally Cost, Project & Building Consultancy services with several offices around the UK. They are seeking to appoint a key member to their national Project Management team to assume the leadership of a well rooted industrial property team proceeding a forthcoming Partner retirement.

It’s current divisional leadership has remained a constant for many years and upon the reigns being handed over, it’s certain to be in a wonderful position for nurturing already cemented client relationships and exploiting new client opportunities given the businesses’ track record in this sector. The significant shift in consumer spending and the consequent rapid acceleration of e-commerce, only seeks to reinforce the opportunity at hand.

Successful candidates will require a proven background in commercial property development, particularly new build and ideally steel frame. You will be professionally Chartered with a minimum of 10 years construction project management experience and preferably from a consultancy background. Candidates will need to demonstrate a few key attributes; some operational experience (possibly managing a small project teams) a personal composure in a pressured environments; the ability to influence stakeholders and have a demonstrable track record in leading successful construction projects.

In return, our client is prepared to offer a starting salary to c£80,000 (depndent on experience) + Pension + Life assurance cover + 27 days holiday
