A well established design and construction advice consultancy has very recently won a number of new and significant projects and they need to expand their PM team. They’re looking for an Associate level / highly competent Senior Project Manager to help steer their future project successes and manage a dedicated delivery team(s). In particular, their current opportunities are to become intrinsically involved with their Higher Education and commercial fit out teams.

Our client has enjoyed significant UK expansion in recent years, opening various regional UK offices so it’s an excellent stage to be joining them as their reputation grows! In principle, they’re keen to engage with suitably experienced Project Managers with strong consultancy expertise, degree qualified (ideally either Building Surveying or Architecture) with a minimum of 8 years post graduate experience to date.

They already boast a strong market position within the HE and fit-out sector with vested client relationships with multinational players and internationally renowned universities. Consequently they want to attract a highly skilled professional with a good level of personal gravitas, a proven project delivery track record and with industry contacts to boot. Commercial office projects can range from £1-5m, typically high end, technologically advanced office spaces (media led) to large scale redevelopment campus projects for universities, to c£70m. In addition, our client have experience in delivering hotels, student accommodation and large new build, multi-unit residential schemes.

A candidates’ current skills should include managing internal staff, direct teams and holding individual accountability for project delivery within their own client account / relationships. As a prospective Account Manager, candidates must be technically competent and conversant throughout all construction phases and demonstrate appropriate leadership in a highly visible client facing role. It’s hoped that candidates will have achieved a suitable professional qualification to their degree (ie. MBA, MRICS, MAPM) and those with BREEAM experience potentially stand at an advantage.

Starting salary from £65,000 – £80,000 + benefits. (depending on relevant experience)
