Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager

Our client is a niche, independent PQS consultancy that have recently opened up a Central London office. They are an established consultancy business with a strong leisure and hotel(s) client portfolio.
They are urgently seeking to appoint a graduated quantity surveyor or project manager to principally support a prestigious 5* hotel project refurbishment in Central London (completing in May 2019) albeit you will also be involved on other projects alongside this.
Working alongside their Associate, your initial role will include a multitude of tasks from assistance with controlling purchase orders, attending design and site meetings, inspections, compiling defects and assessing completions, assistance with project documentation, budgeting amongst other duties.
Candidates wishing to apply must have completed their degree program, a BSc (Hons) in either Quantity Surveying, Project Management or Building Surveying, with a minimum of 12 months professional experience to date. Key personal criteria includes being personable, articulate and presentable. You will be given immediate opportunities re: client contact & liaision so you should be confident and robust in your ability to handle good levels of responsibility. Candidates should also have sound computer skills in Excel & ideally Microsoft Project.

Salary is negotiable (depending on circumstances – guide £28,000 – 32,000 + 25 days holiday (plus closure at Xmas) + discretionary annnual bonus
