Senior Quantity Surveyor
Our client has a niche set of established clients and is maintaining significant project traction even through current circumstances. They are principally a small but expanding Project Management consultancy but seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to centralize their cost control services to various clients.
Working alongside other Project Managers, my client specialize in the refurbishment / redevelopment of independent service stations (across the UK) to include associated retail facilities. They have a strong pipeline of committed work for the foreseeable future.
The successful individual will principally be responsible for the feasibility, cost planning and cost control (delivery phases) of concurrent projects, at various stages and in a varied client facing role. You’d be based out of their HQ office in Surrey but UK travel should be anticipated nationwide.
Candidates wishing to apply must have an academic surveying background (ie. BSc, MSc in Quantity Surveying) and ideally a professional certification with the RICS (but not essential). High flyers will be considered from a newly RICS qualified level too.
It would be advantageous, alongside complimentary project experience (JCT Intermediate form and traditional procurement experience) to have some groundworks / civils exposure and interested parties to have undertaken or to possess a flair for internal management duties in due course.
Lastly, this is a progressive role (re: direct promotional opportunities) and the aim will be to see further Quantity Surveying recruitment, to compliment this first appointment, in due course.
For the right individual, our client is prepared to offer a salary up to c£60,000 basic plus benefits.
