A newly created and exciting opportunity in Central London to join a highly respected national property consultancy as a Senior Quantity Surveyor involved in both new and refurbishment projects ranging from £500k to £30m in commercial office, residential and industrial sectors.

In response to a strong project pipeline, our client a national property consultancy is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to both drive theirt technical service and support its niche project management team.  From their established office, you will be involved in both new build and refurbishment projects ranging from £500k to £30m in commercial office, residential and industrial sectors. Current projects are a genuine variety of everything barring healthcare projects.

Day to day duties will include but not limited to; Preparing cost plans; tender analysis and preparing reports; interim valuations and financial reports; Agreeing variations and final accounts and attending site and design team meetings. This is an important client facing role and whilst part of a team, you will be expected to work independently. Technically, you must have excellent pre and post contract administration knowledge (JCT preference) & you will also hold a full RICS membership. 

Our client is looking for someone commercially focused, who’s managerially capable (accomplished client facing skills) who can desmonstrate an initiative to both exploit internal opportunities but also deliver on independently won work. They are looking for this individual to show competency to develop to a Director role in due course with the intention to build a dedicated London QS team accordingly.

Salary to £60-65,000 basic (dependent on experience) + generous car allowance + benefits
