Project Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our retained client is a small, private cost consultancy based in Victoria. In a short time they’ve carved a significant reputation for delivering high end residential, leisure / hospitality and hotel developments across the UK South / London area.

Unlike many smaller practices, my client now boasts a strong engine room of APC surveyors (at various stages) but now require another competent project running surveyor who would sit towards the front end of the business. In particular they would like to hire a confident deliverer (and will appoint at Senior level QS as necessary) to help broaden their overall project capability and in turn, attract new clients.

The technical role will encompass a full suite of pre and post contract administration including some employers agent duties and you will principally take charge of a number of projects (JCT) and associated client management. Where necessary, you will also have ready access to project support via their strong cohort of apprentices.

Candidates wishing to apply must have completed a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying (RICS accredited) degree with a minimum of 4/5 years’ PQS experience, specific to UK. It’s expected that applicants will be MRICS although direct and relevant experience will be considered re: PQS.

Other key personal criteria includes being very personable, articulate and presentable. Applicants should also have competent IT skills and a UK driving licence.

Salary guide is £50,000 – 65,000 (dependent on experience) + Excellent Benefits including a new bonus incentivization program.
