A prestigious design & project services consultancy is seeking to appoint an experienced Assistant or a ‘budding’ Project Manager to advance its existing & independent reputation as a leader in residential, specialist housing and mixed use sectors.
Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate a related surveying degree, Building Surveying would be particularly advantageous, as would some experience as an employers’ agent. Suitable candidates could be either newly Chartered, have attained MAPM status via related experience and / or be an assistant project manager completing their APC. Principally you will provide a supporting role to a senior staff on a variety of mixed use projects c£10-50m
You should be technically familiar with the standard Forms of Contract (JCT) and / or PPC2000 and NEC, possess good commercial awareness, have a sound understanding of financial risk and principally, demonstrate good leadership qualities.
Your expertise, at whatever stage of continued development, will be important to continually improve upon their standard suite of documents, Employer’s Requirements, Contract Amendments, and client design standards & also drive home greater ‘added value services’ in the specific areas of due diligence, project monitoring, general business & financial planning.
