Our client is a niche, independent PQS consultancy that have an established offices in Berkshire supporting their project endeavours in and around London. They are an accomplished practice with particularly strong hospitality and hotels client portfolio.
They’re urgently seeking to appoint an assistant level project manager or building surveyor to principally support their Senior PM’s in their Berkshire office. Initially working on a number of hotel/restaurant project refurbishment schemes in the home counties and Central London as well as assist in the development flagship branded restaurants.
Your initial role will include a multitude of tasks; from controlling purchase orders, attending design and site meetings, inspections, compiling defects and assessing completions, assistance with project documentation, budgeting, preparation of tenders, contracts, site administration, project completion and project reporting.
Candidates wishing to apply should, as the ideal, have completed their degree program, our client has a strong preference for those with a BSc (Hons) Building / Project Management or Quantity Surveying degree (RICS accredited) with either an 12 month industrial placement for experience or some post-graduation professional experience to date (minimum period of 6 months) or have at least 18 months hands-on project management experience (property consultancy) without a degree.
Key individual criteria includes being personable, articulate and presentable. You will be given immediate opportunities re: client contact & liaison so you should be confident and robust in your ability to handle good levels of responsibility. Candidates should also have sound computer skills in Excel & ideally Microsoft Project.

Salary is negotiable (depending on circumstances) but as a guide from £28,600 – £32,400 + 25 days holiday (plus closure at Xmas) + discretionary annual bonus
