Senior Quantity Surveyor
Our exclusive client, a small and exciting PQS consultancy have a rare opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team with a view to becoming a business owner in the relative short term.
Our client was established over 10 years ago and has purposefully maintained a niche status in honouring the bespoke credentials and needs of their clientele. They operate under a ‘roll up the sleeves’ culture and mentality, they stake themselves on being able to consistently exceed expectations, they find solutions where others can’t and that earned respect is shown by the notable level of their repeat business.
Employing 6 people in their office, based out of ‘city’ located offices, they are needing to recruit as their workload has steadily increased to the point where they’re ready to invest in an upcoming Partner that can assist in cementing the future of their business. It’s a very rare chance for a bright Senior level Quantity Surveyor or fledgling Associate to enter into a genuine partnership opportunity once their ability has been tried and proven.
Projects are often funded by high net worth individuals / investors including celebrities and stretch through to the largest of global fashion brands – their projects reach way beyond a small practice standing and it’s via their dynamic leadership that they’re able to secure notable clients / schemes.
Coming into the business at Senior Quantity Surveyor level, the onus will be on full project delivery – cradle to grave project responsibility but you can expect to be stood at the front as far as engagement with clients, designers, contractors are concerned.
Candidates wishing to apply should understand the demands of a smaller business being total. Versatility is required as no one day is the same, you will be immersed in many aspects of the business but principally managing projects (super prime & high end residential + prestigious commercial office projects) whilst endeavouring to build up your reputation towards an ownership conversation.

Candidates should be Chartered (MRICS) but consideration will be given to those with a strong employment background within the PQS sector. It is anticipated that you will have had a minimum of 5-7 years PQS experience to date.
Starting salary is negotiable – our client would expect to offer in the region of c£60k basic + there are excellent benefits including BUPA private health, 29 days holiday, flexible working and bonuses.
