Associate / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading UK property consultancy business is URGENTLY seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial projects team in London. The professional services team lead on and manage individual projects as well as provide to support to the project managers on multi-disciplinary projects. Projects will range in size from £100k to £20m.

Candidates should have experience working on medium large scale property projects within the Commercial Developer, Residential, Corporate Occupier and Education sectors. Candidates will ideally have a PQS consultancy background and RICS qualified however candidates from a main contracting background will also be considered. 

You will be client facing and haven proven experience of the following; Experience of preparing cost plans; Production of feasibility studies and estimates from minimal design information Experience of preparing procurement documents (prequalification, tender and contract documents) and managing tender process; Measurement of BoQ’s etc; post contract works; Experience of negotiation and agreement of pricing and accounts with contractors;

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to reach an Associate Director level within a short time. Starting remuneration packages to £65,000 – 70,000 (+ 10% car allowance) + Benefits (depending on experience)
