Associate Quantity Surveyor – Construction

Our client, a small QS & PM practice based in central London has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Senior level Quantity Surveyor (preferably with some Employers Agent / Project Management experience) to join their burgeoning high end residential business.
Over the past 15 years, they’ve carved a strong reputation in the high net worth sector and deliver a range of luxury abodes, typically new build, via JCT Design and Build / Traditional Contracts for both private and niche developers. Construction values range between £1-15m including some Grade listed projects.
Candidates wishing to apply must firstly be appreciative as to the demands of a small thriving practice where no two days are the same and a strong sense of comradery is important. From an experience perspective, a minimum of 6 years’ post qualification (degree) is required in the UK’s professional quantity surveying market. An added bonus would be an MRICS or MAPM membership albeit training & guidance can be provided for late bloomers!
Core responsibilities will be to manage clients & projects, chair meetings, manage programmes and plan projects, manage risk and deliver schemes / projects from inception to completion maintaining impeccable communication between parties.
This is a particularly busy time for our client so the successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running but a wider opportunity exists within the business for a talented hire.
