A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (Associate level) to build on their existing team in Central Manchester focusing on project monitoring & traditional construction delivery across a range of sectors.

Reporting to a Divisional Director, this exciting post could quickly thrust the successful candidate to assume a full control of a current eight man office with plans to expand through 2019 in a bouyant North West market place. Supported by a steady turnover of projects your day to day role will encompass both specialist monitoring & traditional project delivery duties (pre & post contract administration / JCT D&B) as well as steering, guiding and mentoring junior staff.  

Based in modern office accommodation in a highly sought after business area in Manchester you will benefit from joining an already established office with a wider and integrated UK business supporting you.

Current commissions include commercial office fit out schemes to £20m, various capital projects with North West universities, major capital defence projects as well as working with corporate clients in the industrial sector.  Alongside a genuine variety of traditional PQS work, there is a constant source of monitoring work ranging from niche residential development schemes and commercial office projects.

Candidates wishing to apply should ideally have a significant professional working experience in the North West region alongside a strong employment record within the PQS consultancy sector. It’s anticipated that candidate will have also had some responsibility for business development and staff mentorship. Any candidate wishing to apply must have as a minimum a BSc Quantity Surveying (accredited) degree with a strong preference towards those who have a professional Chartership via the RICS.
