Hungry market out there for high performing Assistant level Quantity surveyors!

Following already successful recruitment campaigns, our clients (two) are wishing to hire another experienced Graduate / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join it’s growing ranks!

Both are niche, independent cost consultancies based in C.London but one, with an extended regional presence around the UK. Both employ between 10-50 staff and consequently they have a strong cohort of Quantity Surveying staff to help develop and guide you through some crucial developmental years.

As an Assistant level Quantity Surveyor you’ll be principally supporting others on a number of projects across the business – project sectors range from commercial, residential, higher education and in doing so, providing you with the necessary support through any current of forthcoming APC journey. Both are fantastic training opportunities for a surveyor who is keen to be working in a close knit teams!

Your role will include a multitude of traditional tasks from rudimentary pre & post contract administration duties (measurement, tender reviews, reporting, budget estimating etc) and other responsibilities such as controlling purchase orders, attending design and site meetings, inspections, compiling defects and assessing completions, assistance with project documentation (JCT).  Our clients’ current portfolio consists of high end residential, hospitality and hotel development and alongside offering traditional pre & post contract administration services they also offer Employers Agent services.

Candidates wishing to apply must have eligibility to work in the UK (without restrictions), you must have completed a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying (RICS accredited) with either an 12 month industrial PQS work placement or a minimum period of 6 months post-graduation work experience.

Key personal criteria includes being personable, articulate and presentable. You will be given immediate opportunities re: client contact so you should be confident and robust in your ability to handle good levels of responsibility. Candidates should also have good, competent IT skills.

Salary guide is c£32,500 – 36,500 (dependent on experience) + Benefits
