This is fabulous opportunity to work in a small yet well-established PQS consultancy based in Surrey who are seeking to expand their permanent staffing level to support growing project endeavours in London. They are an accomplished practice with a steady & consistent client portfolio consisting of commercial, residential & industrial clients/projects from £500k to over £100m.
In principle seeking to appoint an assistant quantity surveyor to support a number of projects in Central London and in particular a prestigious residential refurbishment in a highly sought after location. An excellent opportunity for your APC diary development with one to one coaching and support.
Working alongside the Directors and another Assistant level QS, it’s a very tight knit and friendly office environment. Your role will include a full duty of quantity surveying tasks and client facing opportunities including measurement tasks, budgeting to post contact administration and final account work.
Candidates wishing to apply must have completed their quantity surveying degree program. Our client has a strong preference for those with a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying (RICS accredited) with either an 12 month industrial placement for experience or some post-graduation professional experience to date, for a minimum period of 6 months. Candidates with an MSc in Quantity Surveying are also encouraged to apply.
Key personal criteria includes being personable, articulate and presentable. Because of client contact responsibilities you should be confident and robust in your ability to manage people in challenging scenarios and deliver appropriate commercial advice & solutions. Candidates should also have sound Excel skills and have a full UK driving licence.

Salary is negotiable (depending on circumstances – guide £32,500 – 35,000 + 28 days holiday + pension. Parking is also available at our clients offices.
