Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a small & nurturing traditional consultancy partnership with c22 staff and a strong reputation in the London PQS market – they deliver projects across the UK (with London / South East focus) & internationally. They are urgently seeking to appoint Assistant Quantity Surveyor to their Central London cost team.

Purely focused on commercial projects, their current portfolio includes a fantastic cross section of private & student residential, commercial offices, leisure and hotels ranging from £2-30m. This is a cracking opportunity for a talented APC’er to focus and / or accelerate their pathway journey with excellent in-house support and work in amongst a very friendly environment.

Worth highlighting also that our client believes in being meritocratic, they don’t generate or entertain office politics, they focus on rewarding  enthusiasm, effort, skill and ultimately results – at all levels!

Applicants wanting to apply will require a UK BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying degree or MSc – RICS accredited. You must have a minimum of 1-2 years professional UK PQS experience (this can include an industrial year out placement), and some exposure to private sector / commercial projects would be advantageous.

Salary packages are generous, our client being prepared to offer up to £45k basic with a weighty additional discretionary bonus too for those closer towards their APC goals. 

This role is intended to be a very progressive one for the successful candidate, with the initial goal of becoming Chartered but in tandem, steadily achieving more authority and project influence as their talent allows / grows.
