Project Quantity Surveyor

Our client, an established, reputable and traditional PQS consultancy with a network of UK offices has an exciting opportunity for a project quantity surveyor to principally join their commercial & residential or retail division(s).

Reporting to a Partner in each case, within a very supportive & friendly team, our client is keen to hire a competent surveyor capable of managing smaller projects to c£200k – £2m (for retail business) and / or experience and involvement in larger projects between £1m – £30m on the commercial & residential side.

Within their retail sector, the successful candidate will still be instrumentally involved with treasured national retail clients – involved in some exciting new refurbishment programmes, you’ll be client facing with career opportunities to capitalize on an established accounts whilst enjoying a variety of project challenges through managing schemes at differing stages of construction.

Within their Commercial & residential sector, your primary focus will be on various ‘cut & carve’ projects, new build commercial projects for luxury automotive groups and a large re-development projects for a prestigious sporting club with significant UK property assets.  

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ PQS consultancy experience with ideally relevant project experience to the above.  It would be ideal for a candidate to be chartered but if at APC stage, our client has an excellent and proven training programme.  

In return, our client will nurture your career growth to a Senior Project Surveyor level (and even potentially Associate level) within 18-24 months. In addition, you will be paid a starting salary of up to £50,000 + benefits (depending on your experience)
