Senior Project Manager

A unique opportunity for an associate level project manager to join an expanding and independent project management consultancy who are involved in a prestigious retail and mixed use project in central London.

Directly supporting the project director, your role and responsibilities centre around the lead developer and project management of a major new retail destination that will become home to a host of independent global brands in Europe’s largest inner city retail arena.

Scheduled to open in 2020, 50 buildings will incorporate up to 130 new retail units including several leisure facilities. Your primary role, as client representative, will be to provide the vision and technical expertise to both create, guide and manage the execution of these retail opportunities for prospective tenants.

It is imperative that applying candidates are dynamic in character with strong interpersonal skills. This is a demanding opportunity and as such, the individual needs to be confident in their ability to manage key stakeholders and end users (directly) and to keep pace with concurrent projects. It’s important that the individual can manage projects independently and has the appropriate construction knowledge of base builds in preparation of high end fit outs.

Candidates will require a construction led degree (preferably in construction project management) and it’s hoped that you have also achieved a relevant professional status ie. RICS, APM. Candidates applying must have a minimum of 5 years property consultancy experience to date (London based preferred) and have a sound experience of the London marketplace.

This is a progressive opportunity and will offer the post holder the chance to step up to associate level within 12 months, subject to performance. Starting salary c£75-80k + benefits (dependent on experience) + benefits.
