Senior Project Manager

In adapting to these technological & lifestyle changes, our client are marching forward their clients agenda for digitalizing their clients property portfolio to accommodate electric vehicles and capitalising on the extended engagement time for associated retail opportunities.
This area the consumer market is set to dramatically change over the next decade(s) and that cements the long term future of our clients’ business whomhave assumed a global presence in recent months! Their already strong pipeline of committed work continues to grow, consequently they’re needing to expand their project delivery teams but specifically with someone whom has some experience in electric vehicle adaptation technology combined with a robust construction background.
We’re specifically looking for a Senior Project Manager with minimum of 5 years’ construction project management experience to help build their expertise in the EV market space. The role will be specific to managing this burgeoning area of their business although you will still have wider project delivery duties to manage the refurbishment / redevelopment of independent petrol service stations (across the UK) with a the growing emphasis on savvy retail facilities.The successful individual will be responsible for project inceptions re: construction delivery of new technologies with concurrent projects, at various stages – values can vary between c£1-5m.
This is a nationwide role albeit based out of our clients’ offices in Surrey & London. Due to the nature of their clients and projects, significant travel should be anticipated so candidates must have a full UK driving licence!
Candidates wishing to apply must have a construction academic background (either BSc, MSc in surveying, architecture or project management) You will have a UK orientated background with minimum 5 years specific construction project management experience and a sound ability to manage projects (full contract administration) from start to finish. It would be highly advantageous for candidates to have directly related experience of new build construction & / or retail fit-out projects but the cherry would be to have the desirable EV technology experience too!
Candidates must have JCT experience (ideally Intermediate form and traditional procurement knowledge) – it’s also advantageous for candidates to have some groundworks / civils working knowledge too.
Our client is prepared to offer a starting salary between £70,000 including a car allowance + benefits.
