Senior Cost Manager
Our client, an expanding Cost & Project Management consultancy is seeking to appoint an experinced cost manager in response to a rapidly expanding workload. As a regional practice, having made a significant market impact since their inception, our client is boasts an excellent reputation for project delivery but also for outstanding employee satisfaction. As a business, so far, they’ve established themselves in the education, commercial office and key developer clients in the major logistics industries. The principled role will see you managing various projects at differing stages, albeit your cost skills will be need to be certified from inception to completion at this level. Our clients’ PM service is a 360 degree offering, from site appraisal work, co-ordination & management of external teams, procurement and post contract management to handover.
Candidates must hold a Quantity Surveying degree and it’s expected that you’ll also hold a professional membership too (preferably MRICS). Moreover the candidate must have relevant experience of project delivery for projects in excess of £10m – it’d be advantageous for candidates to have industrial warehousing / property within their project delivery portfolio.
From a softer focus, candidates must be engaging in their temperament, assertive as a decision maker but collegiate in style. Whilst the role is potentially a demanding one in respect of tight deadlines, it’s a hugely friendly place to work with a fantastic sense of team and a winning office culture!
Salary guide from £55,000 – 65,000 basic + Benefits (depending on experience)
