Our client is a small, passionate PQS consultancy with well-established client base & project exposure within the residential healthcare sector. The company has a young, ambitious team with an energetic senior management presence who approach projects with an open mind and will happily challenge the status quo. Day to day you’ll be both involved with current projects (both as Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager) but there will be a heavy emphasis on developing project income via your market contacts. You can, however, expect plenty of support starting in these current challenging times.
Who are they looking for? In principle they’re after an executive level Quantity Surveying candidate by background, MRICS is essential, as is a proven track record of developing and converting business opportunities to profitable conclusions. The candidate should have a minimum 15 years’ experience within cost consultancy (UK based), a demonstrable PQS employment record, and be able to showcase their specific achievements across the affordable & private residential, hotel or industrial sectors to date. They must excel in building relationships and managing projects from start to completion, ideally experienced to projects at c£25m. Our client is seeking a professional with a ‘let’s make it happen’ attitude who is also backed up by reliable industry connections.
